Info Tech Class - 1/28/09

In the short-term, I believe outsourcing has a signigficant impact on National Security. Outsourcing opens up new channels for terrorists to access information. In a hurry to become "global" companies and geovernments lose sight of critical issues such as national security. It will take time to fill the gaps and make outsourcing "airtight" and protect companies and countries from terrorists. In the long-term, as we move towards a "world government" or something of that sort, the national security issues will sorted out...or at least get on par with the western countries.

Info Tech Class - 1/20/09

Not what I was expecting for an info. tech. class, but I loved it. It makes sense to learn about the fundamentals that are not time-sensitive, as opposed to learning specific technologies.
