While I understand the benefits of social networking websites, I am afraid it is taking us away from the most effective form of communication - "face-to-face" (really, not virtually). I totally agree that online communication makes it extremely easy to stay in touch with friends and family. However, we are probably taking it too far. Sometimes we don't actually say hi to somebody sitting next to us, but we shoot him/her an instant message....that is what bothers me. I believe we should use social networking as a supplement not as a replacement for existing, more impactful forms of communication.

With increasing number of service companies, human capital is becoming indeed the most valuable of all forms of capital.
